IEEE ISIE 2025

Call For Industry Panel Session

About ISIE

The IEEE ISIE 2025 is the 34th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), focusing on frontier technologies for industries, applications of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence. ISIE is the flagship annual conference Symposium of the Industrial Electronics Society (IES). The objectives of the conference are to provide high quality research and professional interactions for the advancement of science and technology. The symposium will feature expert speakers and researchers sharing breakthrough research and insights in industrial electronics.

Panel Session

The organizing committee of IEEE-ISIE 2025, to be held in Toronto, Canada, in June 2025, invites proposals for Panels on technical areas of interest to the Indus-trial Electronics Society (IES). These Panels, offered by field experts, should cover cutting-edge technical topics of significant value to academia, practicing engi-neers, and researchers, with direct relevance to industry needs. Panel supported by practical implementations are particularly encouraged. Proposers should be leading experts in their respective fields of research and aim to provide an engag-ing, interactive platform that fosters active audience participation. Suitable Panel topics may range from emerging research areas to well-established cutting-edge techniques with practical and industrial significance. While the IEEE-ISIE 2025 or-ganizing committee particularly encourages Panel proposals aligned with IES tracks and conference themes, proposals on other emerging topics relevant to industrial electronics are also welcome.

ISIE Panel proposals:

(should include the below information)
  1. Title and subject of the Panel
  2. Presenter(s) (Title, name, affiliation)
  3. Outline (The outline shall provide a concise description of the covered topics and subtopics, 600 words in max)
  4. Motivation and Focus (Briefly explain why this topic is important for the industrial IES community and outline the learning outcomes; not more than 600 words)
  5. Brief Bio of the Panel Organizers (Photo, name, email, and short bio)
  6. Presentation duration- not more than 90 minutes

Potential topics include but not limited to the following:

Energy: Power Systems and the Smart Grid, Renewable Energy Systems, Power Electronics & Energy Conversion, Grid Resiliency, Electrical Machines and Drives, Electric Energy Storage Systems, Resilient Control for Energy Systems, and Transportation Electrification.

Control and Robotics: Control Systems, Motion Control, Robotics and Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Sensors, Actuators, Systems Integration and Nanotechnologies, Signal and Image Processing and Computational Intelligence.
